World’s First Aerospace Technology Powered Quiet Leaf Blower Releases Pre-Orders at CES

LAS VEGAS, NV - Jan. 5, 2026. Whisper Aero today announced the release of pre-orders of the much anticipated Tone T1 Leafblower at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The handheld leaf blower pairs breakthrough quiet power with professional performance, already recognized as a winner of the 2025 New York Product Design Awards. Whisper Aero has previewed early silent leaf-blower prototypes to massive market interest, and now it premieres its first commercial product under its outdoor air management brand Tone.
“Whisper Aero was founded on a passion to achieve a quieter world, in the air and on the ground. The Tone T1 Leaf blower is the first product to use aerospace-grade technology derived from my years at NASA, where I pioneered electric aircraft. The T1 achieves breakthroughs not only in ultra-low noise but also with higher efficiency to provide longer battery runtime. It’s also the most powerful handheld - compare us to any other Leaf blower, and we literally blow them away! Help us make neighborhoods quieter now, while we make aircraft quieter in the future,” says Whisper Aero CEO Mark Moore.
Powered by Whisper Aero’s UltraQuiet™ propulsion technology, the T1 produces 880 cubic feet per minute (CFM) and 25 newtons of blowing force, outperforming leading gas handhelds by 60%. At peak thrust, it operates at only 52 dB(A), which is approximately 60% quieter than the top battery blowers available today, and 80% quieter than gas,2 addressing noise challenges without compromising the performance required to keep communities clean.
People everywhere want quieter, cleaner tools that respect their space. Across the United States, the shift away from gas-powered leaf blowers has accelerated. In 2021, more than 100 cities took action to funnel what has grown into a sweeping movement that now reaches across entire states. As states like California and Colorado phase out gas-powered lawn equipment, new city regulations have emerged with HOAs, neighborhood groups, and school districts introducing quiet hours to protect daily routines.
“Only by rethinking the core of how a blower moves air can a new class of quiet, capable tools rise to meet the expectations of modern communities. Tone T1 is a solution that offers discreet operation while enhancing performance, serving both professional and residential needs, operating comfortably in neighborhoods, hospitality environments, and shared spaces,” says Whisper Aero COO Ian Villa.

This moment calls for something entirely new: a tool purpose-built for a world that expects both quiet and capability. The T1 is that breakthrough, bringing aerospace innovation into a handheld form. Highlights include:
Aerospace-Engineered UltraQuiet™ Technology: With a patented fan and motor system engineered for high airflow and low noise, the T1 is built around a next-generation electric propulsion system originally developed for Whisper Aero’s aircraft programs.
ToneShift™ 5-Speed Control Dial: Five smart modes make the T1 feel like five blowers in one. Each mode sets an intelligent ceiling, while the variable-speed trigger gives you smooth, continuous control.
ToneLock™ Trigger: ToneLock™ secures power setting to reduce fatigue, stay consistent, and finish the job faster. For more thrust, jump to Turbo.
Integrated LED Night Light: Work peacefully at dawn, dusk, or low-light environments with a built-in 400 lumen light that doesn’t disturb neighbors. With a 4,000 Kelvin and 95+ CRI Cree LED emitter, natural light illuminates the way.
54V, 5.0 Ah Li-ion High-Capacity Battery System: A long-lasting, swappable battery provides extended runtime with no cords and no fumes. Operates for up to 50 minutes in Eco.
Lightweight & Ergonomic Design: Balanced comfort during long sessions with less fatigue and easy for anyone to lift, hold, and maneuver. Designed for professionals and households alike.
Customers can choose between Canyon Sage ($599), Tone’s signature green color, designed to blend into its surrounding landscapes, or the limited edition “Silence Is Golden” T1 ($699), created to honor the quiet we all deserve. ¹Based on comparative bystander A-weighted sound pressure level measurements at 15 m (50 ft) using the test procedure described in ANSI/OPEI B175.2-2012. "High-performance" defined as approximately 25 N blowing force. Tested October 2025.
² “Quieter” is based on an estimate of perceived loudness derived from the difference in bystander A-weighted sound pressure level at 15 m (50 ft), measured using the test procedure described in ANSI/OPEI B175.2 and compared against a 75 dB(A) blower. Percent reduction is calculated as 1−(2-ΔdB/10) (using the common approximation that a 10 dB change corresponds to ~2× change in perceived loudness). “More powerful” is based on maximum blowing force (N) measured for T1 using the ANSI blower force test method, and compared to published maximum blowing-force values for leading gas handheld blowers commercially available in the U.S. as of October 2025. Results may vary by mode and conditions. Data on file.
